Join us as Beth Moore leads this nine session, lecture only, DVD series. It is a topical study of Inheritance throughout God's Word. Key verse: Psalm 16:5-6 "The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance" This study does not have homework as in past studies, however, a listening guide is available for $5.00 if you would like to purchase one. This class is primarily for women.
What is truth? Does absolute truth exist? Where do we find truth? The source for truth is God’s Word. We are going to dig in to God’s Word to discover his truth—with a twist. The twist is: You get to choose the passages of Scripture that we will study. In most classes, the teacher studies the passage and then tells you about it during class. In this class, we will dig into the passage together from the beginning. You will not only learn what the Bible says, but you will learn to uncover the truth of the Bible on your own. Come ready with your Bible and your favorite passage to study. Let’s roll up our sleeves and dig in to God’s Word.
When we spend time with our loving heavenly father it transforms our life. We are more focused on God’s great plans, longing to lay aside our gloomy human existence for his glorious reality. We see ourselves as children of promise – sons and daughters of the almighty. We can be dynamic instruments of transformation and healing to those around us through intercession, compassion and witness. .
This class will focus on developing our ability to listen to God as he speaks to us through his divine word and as His Spirit illuminates it to a new reality in our lives. It will be a hands-on experience as we practice journaling, praise, meditation and prayer to hone our ability to discern God’s voice. Skills taught in class will be developed through the week as we build a consistent, dynamic devotion time that is the highlight of our day. We will share things we hear from God as we build one another up and encourage one another with testimony of God’s work in our hearts.
