“In the gospels, Jesus spends a lot of time teaching people, especially his disciples. What topics did the Lord himself pick to teach his followers about? And what were the important points he made about those different topics? In this Sunday School class we will study a different teaching by Jesus from Luke’s gospel each week, and try to listen as carefully and thoughtfully as we can to the message the gospel writer has delivered to us. Bring your Bible, your thinking cap, and a willingness to be challenged to greater faithfulness, and come join us.”
How well do you know the New Testament? You probably know many different verses, but do you know they work together to tell God's story? The New Testament can seem like a strange collection of Gospels and letters to people who are very different from ourselves. How can a warning about first-century Gnostics help Christians today? What can today's believers get out of a letter about a slave returning to his master?
Studying the Bible is a fascinating experience for all who desire to more clearly understand how God works with His people. Well-known Bible passages take on new dimensions when seen as they fit together within God's overall message. Far from being mundane, exploring God's Word can be one of the greatest adventures of your life! In the Bible you can interact with a living God who wants a personal relationship with you.
New Testament Survey will show you how the 27 books of the New Testament fit together as one complete revelation from God.

The Main objective of the class will be to clarify and broaden our understanding of prayer from God’s point of view. We will hopefully clear up some questions and misconceptions we have from our point of view. We will cover such topics as what roles do the Holy Spirit, faith, persistence, righteousness, humility and obedience play in prayer. We will also explore issues such as:
• Does God ever change His will because of our prayers?
• Is prayer a one or two sided dialogue?
• What does God do if two people are praying for opposite outcome?
• Why do we not pray?
So if you want to see the view from God’s point of view, bring your Bible and we will check it out together.

“Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Gal. 6:9
