The Prayer Ministry Committee consisting of Chair: Pastor Strader, Prayer Coordinator: Vanessa Gardner meets bi-monthly to pray about, brainstorm & implement changes as God leads. Here are a few of our prayer teams:

Prayer teams:
1)      Core Prayer Team: This team consists of five people whom God originally called to begin this prayer ministry. These people continue to pray for this ministry & follow God’s leading. The Core Prayer Team currently prays for the Prayer Ministry & Bucyrus CMA church staff members.
2)      Pastors Intercessory team (PIT Crew): This team consists of six people who consistently pray for Pastor William Strader. They’re updated bi-monthly on answers to their prayers & are given new personal & ministry prayer requests from Pastor Strader.
3)      Sunday Service Intercessory (SSI) Team: This is a team of 13 people who intercede for & during the Sunday morning service on a rotating basis (1 time every three months). A listening device is utilized to hear the service as it takes place. While listening the person prays for God’s anointing on each part of the service & for God to speak to & work in the individual lives of those in attendance.
4)      Sunday Service Planning Intercessory (SPI) Team: This is a team of 4 people who pray for the Sunday Services while they’re in the planning stages. There is a Worship Theme Committee meeting approximately every 6 weeks. From this meeting the SPI team is given a list of prayer requests in regard to upcoming services.  The team members then pray for God to lead those in leadership, to work out all the details, be gloried through the services & that those in attendance will come to live closer to him.

Prayer groups:
1)      8:30 Sunday Morning Prayer Group: This is a group of believers who meet to pray together for the morning service each week.
2)      7:00 Wednesday Night Prayer Group: This is a group of believers who meet to pray for the needs of our church & people who’ve requested our prayers.

Prayer Line (email & phone) : This consists of 27 people who’ve volunteered to be contacted via email or phone when an emergency prayer request comes in. Each has committed to immediately intercede on behalf of the request as soon as they receive the information.

Where & How can I get involved?
1)      Join A Prayer Team:

The SPI Team (Service Planning Intercessory Team) needs more members.  Joining this team requires a commitment to faithfully pray for the upcoming Sunday Morning Services using a letter outlining plans & prayer needs.  The letter is generated approximately every 6 weeks when the Worship Theme Planning Meeting takes place. At times you may be notified in between the letters when there’s a particular situation that needs prayer.

The Email Prayer line is always open to more members. If you  check your email several times a day  & will commit to immediately praying for emergency prayer requests as they come in  please submit your email address to be added to the email prayer line.

2)     Join a Prayer Group:
The 8:30 Sunday Morning Prayer Group always welcomes new people to join them in prayer. They meet in the conference room & pray for the morning service together.
The 7:00 Wednesday night Prayer Group always welcomes new people to join them in prayer.  They meet in the church fellowship hall every Wednesday except the 2nd of the month. This meeting usually includes an opportunity to share praises, a short devotional & prayer time.
