Wisdom Seekers is an exciting new ministry where adults 60+ can gather, share life, and build friendships. We gather on the third Friday of every month at 11:30 AM for a time of food and encouragement. Everyone brings a dish to share, and together we enjoy a relaxed, uplifting atmosphere. As the ministry grows, we’ll be adding special outings and events to our annual calendar. For now, we invite you to join us each month as we build something wonderful together.

Past Events

Hymn Caroling

In May, the Wisdom Seekers enjoyed a special time of fellowship and ministry together through hymn caroling to our shut-ins. After sharing a delicious meal together, we divided into groups and visited several individuals who are unable to regularly attend church services. As we sang hymns and spent time encouraging one another, the Lord blessed us with meaningful, God-ordained conversations along the way. It was a wonderful opportunity to share joy, encouragement, and the love of Christ with others, and everyone involved had a truly memorable time.

Pizza Hut Fellowship

In April, the Wisdom Seekers gathered at Pizza Hut in Galion for a wonderful time of fellowship. We shared a meal, laughed together, and deepened our friendships. This ministry is creating a meaningful space where our seniors not only connect socially, but also build relationships and find opportunities to serve together. The Wisdom Seekers continue to grow, making a positive impact in each other's lives and in our community.

Game Day

In March, the Wisdom Seekers gathered for a potluck meal filled with laughter and camaraderie. Each member brought a board game to share, and the room buzzed with friendly competition and joy. It was a simple yet meaningful time of connection, and everyone left with smiles.

Potluch

On January 16th, the newly formed Wisdom Seekers ministry gathered for the first time under their official name. They shared a potluck meal and enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship, marking the beginning of what promises to be a meaningful journey together.

The Formation of the "Wisdom Seekers"

On December 5, our senior adults gathered together to enjoy a wonderful meal and meaningful fellowship. Following the meal, we spent time discussing the possibility of forming a ministry specifically designed for our seniors. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and everyone agreed it would be a great opportunity for fellowship, encouragement, and ministry. We then began the exciting process of choosing a name. Each person submitted ideas on a piece of paper, and after voting together, the name “Wisdom Seekers” was chosen. The group also decided to meet once each month as we continue building this new and exciting ministry together.
