Operation Christmas Child

November 21

Choose a Way to Be Involved!

1. Pack a Shoebox with Your Family
Beginning October 18, pick up one or more shoeboxes in the foyer, along with a label and shopping list. Make it a family activity—go shopping together, pack your box, attach the label, and return your completed shoebox by Sunday, November 22.

Please include a $10 donation to help cover shipping, processing, and Gospel materials. Do not put money inside your shoebox. You may give online and track your box, give through the church, or send your donation directly. Checks given through the church may be made payable to First Alliance Church, with Operation Christmas Child in the memo.

2. Donate Items for Our Packing Party
Help us purchase the items we need to pack shoeboxes together! Sign up to purchase items in bulk and bring your donations to the shoebox display table by Sunday, November 15.

Then join us on Saturday, November 21 at 9:30 AM in the youth area for our Operation Christmas Child Packing Party! We’ll have a great time working together as a church family to fill shoeboxes for children around the world.

3. Build a Shoebox Online
You can also build a shoebox online through Samaritan’s Purse. Please let Janet Cory or Lydia McKnight know so your shoebox can be included in our church total.

4. Give Toward Shipping or Supplies
Donations toward shipping or shoebox materials are greatly appreciated. Simply place your gift in your church offering envelope and mark it Operation Christmas Child. Checks may be made payable to First Alliance Church, with Operation Christmas Child in the memo.

5. Pray!
Most importantly, pray that God will use each shoebox to share the love and Good News of Jesus Christ with a child and family.

Let’s share joy, hope, and the love of Jesus—one shoebox at a time!
