Adult Sunday School

We serve to make sure that all of our people have the opportunity to know the truth that God gives us in his word. Our mission is to offer classes that teach the Bible and how it applies to our everyday lives. We offer two to five classes each quarter so that there is always something that appeals to each person.

Saving Truth

How do we engage with the culture where confusion is a virtue and certainty is a sin, where those who are confused about sexuality and identity are viewed as heroes, where those confused about morality are progressive pioneers and those who are confused about spirituality are praised as tolerant? And how do we react, when, as Christians who are certain about these issues, are seen as bigoted, oppressive, arrogant, or intolerant? We will discuss these issues following a weekly 20-25 minute video by Abdu Murray (Christian apologist with the Ravi Zacharius Int. Ministries).Books will be provided. Class limited.Steve Routzahn will be teaching this class in the new fellowship hall starting Sunday, September 8th.

Word Alive

Chris Hepner is leading a multi-year journey through the entire New Testament.  We are discovering what God has given us in his word by going through each verse at our own pace.  Because we do not fit our lessons into quarters as many classes have done, we can spend as little or as much time on each passage as we need.  Our goal is to understand God’s message to us and apply it to our lives.  Right now we are working our way through Colossians.

Beautiful Mess Mom’s Sunday School Group

Mandy Garrett is the leader of this group which is held in the library on Sunday mornings during Sunday School. We are a group of moms with children ranging from infants to adults. As mothers, we know that life can be hard to navigate with busy schedules, and we are often left feeling alone. We combat this loneliness with prayer, encouragement and activities outside the Sunday School hour. We build each other up while growing in our relationship with Christ. Our group is built on Isaiah 40:11, “He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.”Our group is ongoing and very laid back. Come as often as you can!We also have a Facebook page and we are on Facebook Messenger to share prayer requests, encouragement or praises.

Harmony of the Gospels

A chronological study of the life of Jesus through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

Come join us as we explore, discover, study, question, learn, break down, and build back up Scripture!! This is a verse-by-verse discussion- centered class of the most amazing, influential person who ever lived: Jesus Christ, the Son of man, the Messiah, the King. What did he say? What did he do? How did he do it? Why did he do it? What does it mean for us?Come join us as we bring Scripture alive through the text, contextually, historically, and practically in application for everyday life.Matt Eichhorn is leading this class.
